Alright.. here's the problem ....

Alright, I have " infineon " pc3200 ddr ram.
My processor is a 3200+ A64, venice core.
I tried to raise my HTT, I only got up to 215-220 before I encountered some problems.
I figured I'd lower my ram frequency from 200 mhz, to 166 mhz. I did that in BIOS, and I got an error saying a windows file was corrupted. I restarted, went back into bios, put the ram back at its default settings and the problem vanished.

What do I need to do OC this comp ? How can I avoid this problem ? Should I just get better ram ? Is there any way I can oc with what I have right now ?

( oh , btw , my mobo is an asus sli deluxe. )
