HELP

Alright so I got all the parts for my new build and everything hooked up but when I hit the power button the fans come on for a second and then go out and that's it.

Blue Storm 500w

Two possibilities come to mind.

1:_ Heatsink fan plugged into wrong header.
If the mobo does not detect a fan on the heatsink it will shut down.

2:- Short.
Theres an extra standoff under the mobo that not needed, etc, ect.
Mobo shutting down to save its self.
Take out of case and see if it will boot on mobo's box.

take it all apart and redo it and make sure you cover all the bases.

Okay, now that I have it over at my friends place we tried starting it up again

this time the fans are trying to start every few seconds

Short. Put everything on top of a non-conductive surface and start it up.
