Built my computer last year, just finished installing watercooling system. tried to turn it on and nothing happened. exhausted all options please send ideas, im new to WC. really hoping it isn't hardware problems. I have everything connected correctly

P4 3.2Ghz EE
Asus P5AD2 Premium
Cosair xms pc2-5400 1gb
ATI X800XT
maxtor 250gb sata
maxtor 250gb ata
sony 16x DL DVD R/RW

i know this sounds crazy, but plug in your cpu fan and let it sit on the bottom of the case and try and power on and see if it comes on.

ill try it but when i first built the computer i was using a fan with a manual control, i was having problems starting the machine, but it would start and just beep at me, so i disabled to automated fan control in the motherboard, ill try it anyways because i am all out of idea's but if you have any other ideas i think ill probably need them

Reseat everything. CPU memory vidcard and see if that makes a difference.

You get nothing no fans or anything?

Dumb questions, but I have done them all. Is everything plugged in? power switch? power cable?

Its also possible you have a short to your case somehow. I assuming you removed the mobo to do leak testing so its possible you have a short to something from when you put it back in.

Just doing water cooling shouldn't cause the comp to not even post. Any more than changing an air heatsink.
