Ok, just got my system all built up, new intel motherboard, everything all going fine.. until windows starts.

I get a bluescreen after a few seconds. I re-start in command prompt, run chkdsk /f , it finds an error, fixes it, and then same thing happens (bluescreen). I don't want to format.. :(. Any help? And for some odd reason now my mouse won't work...

what does the BSOD say? if chkdisk is finding errors, it may be the hard drive playing up. unfortunately a reformat may be needed.

Until you tell us what the BSOD says, I don't see how we are going to help you. Look up the STOP code on google or MS Knowledge Base, and it will tell you what is wrong.

Well the first few times I got it it had something like

pool_error or something
then boot_pool or something, I don't really recall.. now though I just get

"Windows has detected an error and has shut down to protect itself liek omg! thx bye!" :(.

And for some odd reason it doesn't like my mouse now -_-. The LED on the mouse shines faintly, and clicking and scrolling works, but moving the mouse in safe mode, etc, doesn't work anymore.. OH btw, Safemode with command prompt works.
