I mounted a 3.0ghz 800fsb P4 on a abit max2 ic7, and it says im running a CPU temp of 50C and an amibient of 37 w/ arctic silver5 and a thermaltake spark 7+

what could be wrong?
 
Is that a load temp or idle? I don't think 13 degrees above ambient is all that bad (on air). I think you need to work on case airflow to get that 37 down.
 
those temps aren't too bad. i would work on that case temp though. cable management maybe?
