I just purchased a PCS+ Radeon 7870 MYST GPU and I tried installing it to a Biostar A880GZ AM3+ motherboard and it won't post, even after updating the BIOS.


I've tried a Geforce 9800 GT in the board and it works, also tried the 7870 in a friend's LGA 775 system and it works. I've also tried using a different power supply with the 7870 and Biostar board and it still didn't work.



Any suggestions? :(
 
check the bios, and disable the built in graphics. set it to PCIE, then plug the 7870 in.
