Hey.

Im currently using this computer(compaq), with 512 of RAM, and on of my friends let me use his 2x512 Corsair XMS CMX512-3200 400MHz. But there is a problem, i tried running the RAM in Dual channel, my mobo is a Gigabyte P4 Titan 865PE, so when i install the RAM, my computer wont load up windows, but if it does load up windows, it'll reboot on its own.

I dont know what the problem is, I decided to put my old RAM back in and i get this error talking about a new hardware problem(RAM), so now I know its the Corsair RAM giving me the problem. Does anyone know how can i run the new RAM without having problems?

Its the SPD which is too much for your chipset on your mobo and it probably cannot handle it.

Change it to 2t timing or loosen the latencies.
