I Need Help! With the specs in my sig, i can't overclock my x800xt at all. Even if i push it 10Mhz using ATI tool, I get patches of lines across my screen when 3dmark05 is ran or a game is played. It has an ATI silencer 4 on it, and temp is certainly not the issue. Do I need to up the voltage to the vpu? I dont understand why this is happening! Im seeing lots of people with huge success overclocking this card. I tried using omega drivers and they simply don't work with my system, they make windows navigation very slow and give me errors before i can even start up a game. I'm getting 3dmark05 scores of 5500-5650 with stock vpu speeds, and I know I can get well into the 6k's if I can get this card overclocked. Please Help!!

How did it perform with the stock cooler?
(and maybe the ArticS4 isn't on it properly, or maybe too much cooling paste)

Btw, is it a XT@500/500 or a XTPE@520/560?

Its an XT @ 500/500, and the AS5 is definately on correctly, and the Silencer 4 works very well, temp is not the problem. I did lower my voltage to 1.5 and ive managed to get it stable @ 520/540. There is a discussion on this thread in the overclocking forum. Sorry about the double post.

my saphire x800xt will do 550/560 with stock cooling

so some of the xt's do overclock, its all luck though
