I have Verizon DSL, with the supplied Westell router. I've had this set up before and working fine, but I recently reformatted and went about reinstalling everything. When it came to getting my wireless connection back up it just doesnt seem to connect at all.
I'm using a Linksys Wireless Gaming router to connect the PC. I set it to automatically obtain an IP address and DNS, but each time it reports back that it has little or no connectivity, and Im unable access the Westell router at 192.168.1.1. I've also tried setting my own IP address aswell but it doesnt work, and I probably don't know what Im doing TBH. I'm pretty sure Im in range as I have the router exactly the same location as before and as far as I know its the best place for it. Any help?
