I noticed a bunch of messed up services in the services list, they have pretty convincing display names (like "Config Image") but their real names, when you right click on the service and select Properties, show names like "lijxb" and "kytpcc".

Anyway, I figured, easy enough, I'll just delete those services (via "sc delete [name]") and everything should be fine. However, when I reboot, all these "fake" services are back again! I checked the "Run" keys in the registry to make sure nothing out of the ordinary is running as well as the "Startup" folder.

Anyone else have any ideas how to permanently get rid of these services?... without reinstalling Windows preferably. Or better yet, what can cause these services to re-register themselves after a reboot?

Malwarebytes Antimalware on safe mode should clear them, remember to disable system restore first.
