Ok guys i finally got my watercooling setup complete and since i work for a Automotive Mechanics shop i just grabbed some of the Uv dye we use for leak testing

i thought it would work out fine but its not working as i thought it would, it appears like its not mixing but just sticking to my tubes and inside my res.

You think it was a bad idea to use this or am i doing something wrong or can i stir it or somethin

I need your help

also what would you recommend for a Algae preventer?

well it sounds like you might have grabed the uv dye for a/c leak tests I did the same thing since we own a gas station it acts like oil and water
if your using engine coolant leak testing then it should work fine
a good leak tester will not need to be mixed as it will form a solution

i use betadine in my system works great didnt have any algae in my rig after 6 months

I know this is a day late and a dollar short, but using a yellow hilighter works great and it really cheap. You simply take the hilighter apart and pull out the sponge like part inside that holds all the ink. Then just dunk it in your reservior and as is soaks up water, give it a few squeezes. The ink will bleed out and mix throughout your system. If you can reach into the inside of your reservior, you can push the sponge thing into/against the water flow. This is the fastest way as the water will be forced through it and will quickly pull the ink out of the sponge.

Also, I use Zerex in my system. It keeps the pump lubed and prevents micro organisms from growing. (of course betadine works great too)
