Hi Guys
I have just purchased an E8400 to go in my trusted P5B, prior to putting it in I updated to the latest BIOS from the ASUS website.
Now my problem is that even though I have selected the VCORE of 1.2v manually in the bios, every other time I boot up, it sets it 1.45. I then restart, go to the bios and it is set to AUTO and it wont let me change it.
Restarting it again then allows me to change it back down 1.2.
Any ideas what the problem might be? have reflashed the bios again but to no avail.
Any help/advice will be much appreciated.
