Is there some magical trick to getting USB hard drives and thumb drives to work with VB? I've read the manual, Googled the hell out of the web and gone back and forth with this darn thing 50 times. I know about setting up the USB filters and all that jazz, but it seems to be very hit or miss with getting the things mounted. I've never had a problem with VMware, I was just wondering if someone could show me the light? Oh, I'm using the latest version of VB with XP sp2 as the host. Thanks.

Well, I wiped out VB and reloaded. Also I made sure all VMware crap was gone. Seems to be working better now, but I stll prefer how VMware handles USB devices.
