ONE gold(ish) leads on my Radeon 9700 Pro has broken. It's the part that slides into the AGP slot. I still have the top and bottom sections of that one lead on the card, but there is now a break in the middle. Has ANYONE ever tried to fix an issue like this? I would think that you might be able to solder something back on to bridge the gap or even use a conductive pen then a sealing pen, but I'm hoping someone else has tried something like this in the past.
It's apparently the lead to the power connector, so it's currently completely non-operational. To make a long story short, there was somewhat of a power surge and the lead burned & cracked
. The card otherwise LOOKs ok. Any ideas guys?
Thanks!
