Help with Vertex 2 RAID 0 problem

Raid 0 has been working great for over 3 months and now all of the sudden my storage space is constantly full at 112gb. I have deleted many files and applications but the storage space doesn't seem to restore.


I have 2 vertex 2 60gb 34nm design. Contacted OCZ customer support and all they could suggest was to get rid of the RAID 0 array. OCZ told me they don't recommend RAID 0 for Vertex 2. First i have heard of this.

Ran flawless for over 3 months. Now this. Not sure what the problem is.

Big props to the RyderOCZ from the support department at the OCZ forums.

With the help of RyderOCZ I found that my problem was related to MSI Afterburner.

My MSI Afterburner was burning avi. video files for the last few weeks off and on without me realizing it. Has to do with MSI afterburner configuration.

Once I found where the folder was at that had the files I was able to delete the files.


My RAID 0 Vertex 2s are rocking again!!!!

It was more my fault than anything. I had the MSI Afterburner video recorder going all the time.
