Help with Thermaltake Armor

My friend got a Thermaltake Armor as a replacement case for his HP computer. He asked me to come over and transfer everything from one case to the other for him, so I did. Unfortunately, in the process, instead of taking out the front 5.25" bay with the power switch and so forth through the front, I tried to push it back, and now it's inexplicably jammed.

We can't tell exactly what it's jammed on. (I'll try to get a picture.) It's stuck about a quarter to a half inch in, and it can be pushed up and down a few millimeters, and back and forth a few millimeters. We even went so far as to try to hammer the thing (not TOO hard, but with a bit of force) out, but it didn't work.

Does anyone have any ideas? I've never seen anything get jammed quite like this before. Like I said, I'll get pictures as soon as possible (I don't know how much they'll help, however).

Thanks in advance.

Um, it can get stuck? Wow. Are you sure the plastic release thing on its bay is up and out? Thats really the only thing I can think of...

Yes, it can get stuck. I've gone in there with a flashlight and a screwdriver and I can't find any reason for it to be stuck. I was just wondering if anyone here has ever encountered a similar problem (perhaps by sheer dumb luck, I don't know).

Thanks.

You did pull up the tabs on the side of the drive bay, right? That's how thermaltake drive bays work (the whole screwless system and whatnot.) If this isn't the problem, I think you're gonna have to take the whole thing apart, man. :(

Yeah, we pulled them up. Unfortunately I think it may be whatever the tabs hook into that's jamming the bay farther back. I looked for a way to remove maybe one of the side frames, but it looks pretty solidly-assembled. I'll see what else I can do. And once I get a picture, you can take a look at it then.

Thanks.
