When I installed xp i had 2 raptors in raid 0 on the ich5-r and a single wd 80 se on ide 1. Even though in xp my raid partition is C: and the single ide drive is D: ide drive is considered disk 0 while raid is disk 1. This made my the single drive my system drive, and the raid my boot drive. Now I want to remove my single drive from the computer but I cannot boot from the raid even though i copied all the ntlr files and went into repair console and tried bootcfg, fixmbr, and fixboot commands. Anyone here have any suggestions?
