Just got my EVGA high-flow bracket for my GTX 480 and wanted to know best way to paint this thing? Should I use a self-etching primer since its bare metal or will just regular primer do? Will plain "rattle-cans" work for this project? I have never needed to paint bare metal before so need some guidance. Thanks in advance for all pointers!

self etching

then i'd place the rattle cans in some warm water for ~5mins before use.. Kind of loosen it up a bit and give it a better spray.

Rattle can, can be done but it'll take a lot of know-how to make it look acceptable.
