Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm sorry if this question is really newbie. Please tell me this is normal. I bought an Evga sleeved cable set off eBay to replace the stock cables on my 1300w G2 supernova and the 24 pin mobo connector looks like this. Is this normal? Am I missing pins? Thanks in advance.
Have you compared it to your stock cable? If it doesn't match the stock one, I wouldn't use it.
In any case, that looks like way too many pins missing from the 24-pin connector. You can get away with a few pins missing (i.e. a ground pin), but it looks like you are also missing the 5vsb pin. That is very important for normal operations of the motherboard.
I'm getting the actual power supply later today and I ordered the sleeved cables for it ahead of time so I don't have them to compare to. But this just looks off.
