Help with settings

Receivers cause more trouble than they're worth when they are used to route 4K video it seems. Even if they claim 4K.

If you still need the receiver for sound there are a few solutions. (1) If the receiver supports it, do pass through of the HDMI signal (2) use the receiver via an ARC connection; or (3) use optical out from the TV to the receiver (how I do it, fine if you use up to a 5.1 system)

I second this... WAY more issues using a passthrough hdmi switcher through the reciever.... run it direct and then use arc for audio.
