i was wondering as to the rules it says no ad blocking i dont mind supporting [H] at all love the forum but here is the thing i spend a lot of time at school reading though the forums. the school computer block any ad pop up or etc that dares come up. i dont want tpo get into trouble for ad blocking and i was wondering if it would be better that i dont log in at school or what i dont want any trouble and would rather not log on that cause any trouble

also i have a surpluss of windows xp coa keys and i know i cant sell them but can i give them away on the perpetual freebies thread.???
 
You have no control over computers you use but don't own. Keys are always a gray area, even to give away, so it's best not to use the forum to distribute them.
 
The rule iirc is more accurately stating that discussion about ad-blocking, either methods of doing it or software, is what's not allowed - talking about it, discussing it, showing people how to accomplish it, offering reviews on software designed to do it, addons that get it done, proxy apps or proxies that can help stop ads from appearing, etc, that's the stuff that's against the rules.

As MajorDomo just noted, in some situations people simply have no control over such things (like being at a public Internet access location, potentially libraries that use such blocking tools for a variety of reasons, etc) so there's nothing you can do to "help" in that respect.

The rule says:

The focus is primarily on "Any discussion" so... as long as you're not creating threads asking about how to block ads or what software you could use, you're just fine from what I can tell. ;)

As for the legit XP COAs and Product Keys, I can't say...
