I have an OpenIndiana server fronted with Napp-it (awesome, btw).

I had a SSD (read-cache) fail. The drive was "removed" but is still listed in the pool.

c1t8d0 is the SSD. It was removed when the system was off, repaired and tested working. Replaced the drive, but I have not been able to get the disk back ONLINE to the pool. Any help? I'm still pretty new to Linux.

Uh, those sure don't look like linux device names....

I believe it is cfgadm -al or possibly devfsadm to scan for new devices.

Or reboot.

Do cfgadm -a, iostat -En, or format (don't format anything) to see if perhaps the device name was changed (you insert it in a different port/slot?)? if that's the case just replace (or remove) the cache device and replace (add) it with the new device name. As always, be careful when adding :) Don't add another vdev on accident.

PS I have no idea if the commands are the same for OpenIndiana. Since OpenSolaris is still it's source, I'd hope so.
