hello, my laptop is a toshiba p25-s607 running window media edition. i'm wanting to reinstall the os but both the keyboard and cd rom are broken. i overcome the broken keyboard by using an external keyboard, it connects via ps2 and i put an adapter on it to so i can plug it into a usb port because laptop has no ps2 port. i also use an external usb cd rom in place of the broken internal cd rom. my question is, during the reinstall process are my external keyboard and cd rom going to work? my concern is once i format hd then go to reinstall os, my external keyboard and/or external cd rom wont be recognized or there wont be any drivers installed for them or for some reason they just wont work and ill be left with a useless laptop with no os. thanks, tom.
