I feel that I am a bit out of my league here.

my issue is that I have 2 SSDs that I want to usa as RAID 1, but cant get my pc to startup with the SSDs

I have this card LSI Card and i would aprreciate any help I can get.

Let me know if there is any other information you might need before being able to help me, bu please bear in mind that I am a complete stranger to RAID.

thanks

Just normal addin card bios boot issue.

Make sure the bios of the lsi card is enabled in the bios (most bios don't have this option, though some have disable bios in pci slot disable option).

Set the bios boot order to boot via ADDON, EXTERNAL, SCSI, some oddball option that isn't like harddrive x, or cdrom, usb.

About the best info I can give oyu without knowing the model of the motherboard your using it on.

Also, you will need to go into the lsi cards bios/raid config, and tell it what drive you want it to boot from, this is normally very easy, and if you put the ssd in port 1, is normally set by default.

Awesome info, very helpful.

The motherboard i am using is ASUS P6X58D-E

i will try the tips you just gave, hopefully I can find those options
