I have an ASUS P5B-Deluxe wifiAP, and I am using two WesternDigital 160G SATA drives in RAID0.
Recently, Windiws (vista64) crashed, and now, when booting, when it lists the drives in teh array, it lists one of them as "error occurred". Is there something I can do to fix this? I can check disk and nothing came up...

Perhaps your RAID BIOS needs to reconstruct the array. There should be an option for doing it without destroying the data.

I could see using Rebuild Array with a Raid 1, don't know if it would help with a Raid 0.

Well that's exactly what I had to do. I disturbed one of two drives in RAID 0 by (stupidly) plugging in a CD drive while the computer was on. The RAID was lost, but I was able to reconstruct the array.

If your BIOS doesn't have recovery options for RAID 0 then the only thing left to try is hooking the bad drive to a good machine and running WD's recovery utilities on it...

Personally I would never run RAID 0 for ANYTHING, it should be called FAID as in Fragile Array of Inexpensive Disks.

Glad it worked out for you.

I wouldn't either.

Thanks to everyone for their input. I may have forgotten some points:
a: I am able to boot into the system and it behaves (now) with no problems. But still, when I boot, the Raid driver display screen lists one as normal and the other as 'error' occurred.

I am not using the goofy WD SATA cable, so can I still run the diagnostic programs?

You could try it, but if you were to get any data off of it I would get it off and then destroy and recreate the array. This is not going to be stable for the long run.
