Help With Raid 0

Hey everyone. I am brand new to this Raid stuff but have done a little research on the topic. I currently have 2 X 320GB 7200RPM WD HDD's in my box. One has my current install of Windows 7 64bit and the other has Windows Vista 64Bit which I don't use anymore.

(Once you go 7 you never go back :p )

Now I was doing research on Raid 0 and from what I can tell I would be able to do this. It will give me 2X the performance from what I can tell. How do I set this up without disturbing my current Windows 7 install? I could care less about the Vista install.

My board (MSI P55-CD53) has a raid controller built in. The only thing my board manual mentions is that SATA 1-6 supports Intel Matrix Storage Tech (AHCI/ Raid 0/ 1/ 5/ 10 by Intel P55. It does not say how to set it up or anything like that. Please guys any help would be appreciated. Thanks
 
Both drives will be wiped when creating the RAID array, so you will need to back up whatever content you value beforehand.
 
It depends on your usage pattern and your risk tolerance. If one drive goes, all of the data goes.

I would do it. Depending on the usage pattern you may not see a significant improvement, but I'd do it just so that I didn't have to deal with both a C: and a D: showing up and to recover the space used by the Vista install.
