Help with Raid 0 and an HDD + mSSD cache

Hello, I have a laptop with a 500GB HDD with a 32GB SSD Cache. I had to reinstall windows because it wasn't booting up and after installing Intel RST/Rapid Storage Technology it didn't boot up. I then tried to reinstall windows for second time then the harddrive was not showing up. I plugged the drive onto my desktop and it worked. I reformatted the drive but then it still wasn't showing... I suspect it has something to do with RAID. I actually tried making a new RAID volume by pressing CTRL+I at bootup but while creating a new volume, I only get 59.4GB and I cannot select disks. When I delete the volume, it says I have 2 disks and under Physical disk it states Member Disk(0) for both the 500GB and 32GB SSD. I'm not quite sure what's going on and going to the windows installation disk only 59.4GB is showing up.

You don't have to setup any RAID for SRT. Just put the controller in RAID mode and install Windows on the bare harddisk. In Windows install the RST software and select "Accelerate".
