Help with PSU

I need some help deciding on a power supply. I love the price of PC Power and Cooling Silencer Mk II 950W after rebate $110 vs. Seasonic SS-1050XM ATX 1050 at $160. The PCP&C has a 7 year vs the Seasonic's 5 year warranty. I know the PCP&C isn't modular (which sucks I know) but I already have a HAF so cables arent that big o' deal. I am open to other suggestions as well but I'd love to stay <$200 as possible.

I much prefer modular. Seasonic or Corsair.
I have 5 PC's in the house, think the oldest PSU is about 5 years, newest 3 years. Requirements often change before warranties end.

I suppose I'd prefer one as well as I have always owned cable spagetti PSUs. However, I don't care so much what the inside looks like and only have to deal with the cable wad once outside of potential future mods. Knowing that seasonics are highly regarded, my question's underlying theme was the confidence in buying the cheaper PSU vs. going with a more expensive unit.

what will be the use of that PSU. how much cards will you run? etc.. what processor on what kind of overclock?.. i could suggest This HX-850 i hardly believe of any system that could pull more power than the HX-850 can throw, unless you are going with Quad-SLI/Xfire and with highly OC'd FX8350 or i7 3960X the HX-850 its more than enough for regular SLI/Xfire Setups with highly overclocked High-end processors

well I had planned on a 3930k but will wait around to see what the 4930k has to offer. Im going just 1 780 right now but I want the capacity to go SLI in the future. I understand I can get away with 700ish watts but as an electronic technician myself, I will always opt for plenty of rail juice. On that note asus power calculator puts this rig north of 1k while the eXtreme calc recommends around 850. I know the typical power for a single 780 is 200-250W. With a I7 on p9x79 with 4 HDs, and 8 or so fans/cooler, I can see how this could push 900W.
