Hey I just got a new psu and put it in my pc but I'm getting an error. I turn the comp on and this message comes: Disk Failure. Enter system disk and press enter Or something along those lines. If someone can please help I'd appreciate it.

Double check your connections?

Okay fine, more specifically:
Double check your hard drive power connection?

Wait...now that makes me wonder, this sounds stupid..but..

Did you plug anything into the hard drive?

This should work cause it seems like the other psu had the same connections. I'm not building a custom computer and it isn't a custom computer it's an hp. I'm upgrading cause I also got a video card not a very powerful but nevertheless I got a new psu.

If your hard drive is detected (or whatever disk), then it should boot up normally.

Are you sure your hard drive is connected?

Is there an operating system on the drive?

Or you can just press enter..

Ok it's working. I believe the SATA power wasn't connected. Now just a question... Should it be good from now on?

Unless you knock it back off or something.

Or the drive suffers a catestrophic head crash and dies!

...yes it should be fine.
