I have a LL G70B, and I had Performance-pcs install a nice bulgin LED power switch, but the problem is that the switch keeps shorting out my PC, so if I even slightly push down on the bezel it will turn itself on..

Any ideas on how to fix this outside of some ugly electrical tape?

Edit: plz move my post mods

I can't imagine how a person working for a computer company could install a button wrong. Can you remove the button from the case and post a pic or something so we can have a better idea of whats happening.

Possibly one of the posts on the back of the switch is shorting against the case. Is that why you want electrical tape? You could get some small heat shrink.

the switch is installed on the outside frame, so it comes in contact with the hole inside the case. I will prolly try some electrical tape.
