Help with power station idea???????????

So I'm building yet another system and this time I want to streamline the cable management. So i saw this great product from Thermaltake PST(PurePower 520w). Check IT It has this mini power station and a 5.25 bay power station that looks like it would really help with cable mess. So I was thinking of doing something similar but way more customized to my case and system. I haven't decided on a case but am leaning toward a Lian-Li PC- v2000 or 2100b. Check IT I also might get a custom built wood case from DangerDen based on the forementioned Lian Li design. If your not familiar with the design it is essentially compartmentalized. Rather than run the cable thru to different compartments and getting in the way of the water-cooling hose I was trying to devise a scenario involving mini power panels in the wall seperating the compartments. For instance. a panel that has 5-6 SATA power ports for the hdd compartment. Like one cable running from ps to panel and then splitting from panel to hdd. Basically I was trying to find someone who knows how to go about re-wiring a 520w to 600w ps to accomplish something like this. Any ideas, advise, or links to killer ps modding sites would be sweet!
