When I connect it to my computer it says to retry connection when I open PhotoVu link. I have downloaded the drivers, I'm pretty sure. If someone could help me, that would be good.
 
Do not, do not, do not, DO NOT

use USB.


Get a firewire cable, one end should be 4-pin for your camcorder and the other end should be either 6- or 4- pin depending on what your computer has. If you don't have firewire, get a cheap PCI firewire add-in card for about $15 at your local computer store.
