Hey,
i just got a P-M and using it with a CT-479 asus converter with a p4p800- vm board. I was wondering if any of you guys know if its safe to use the zalman 7000bCU copper heatsink with it. (If it is to heavy ill probably get teh ALCU version instead) Do you guys think it would put too much pressure on the cpu itself? Im running it in a Silverstone SUGO case.

:p

if you can get it on, id assume it to be fine. it was just fine on my Athlon XP, which is a bare core as well.

Drop in at the Xtreme Systems forums. I'm sure someone has mounted that heatsink on a Pentium M.

Unfortunately the Pentium M lovin' isn't very strong here on the [H]ard|Forums. :(

ill be a silently cooled 3 ghz p-m lover once the 760 comes in mail along with the p4c800-e i sent out to be modded ;) also trading my pc4400 tccd for some bh-5, shame i never put the tccd to good use
