This is all on stock cooling and I don't know whether its new heatsinks nowadays buuut this stock heatsink keeps it at a warm 52C.

Now just so I got this right, when I go to overclock my CPU I need to drop the frequency the RAM is running at.... So in the bios I dropped the ram from 667mhz (DDR3 1333) to 533mhz (DDR3 1066). However when I overclocked my CPU my memory frequency is raised to 666.7mhz (essentially DDR3 1333).

Is that correct?
 
Put you memory multiplier at the lower speed and overlock your ram AFTER you cpu overclick. If you don't do that your memory speed will always raise with your cpu overclock and you pc will not boot.
