Just recently I got a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R, E8500 and G.SKILL 4GB DDR2 1000 (PC800) memory. My old system was a Gigabyte EP35, E8400 and 4GB A-DATA. I set the multiplier on it to 9x400 and got 24/7 rock-solid 3.6GHz. However, my new system won't even accept 3.5GHz without a blue screen when Windows loads that says "Page Fault in Non-Paged Area."

I know with the faster processor and better memory I shouldn't have any trouble hitting 3.6 (9x400). Can anyone here who has a similar Gigabtye board give me some suggestions on what to change in the BIOS to help with overclocking? Thanks in advance!

unlink the ram and run it at stock speed and voltage if you are not doing so already.

Make sure your RAM multiplier is set to 2.0x, and your DRAM Voltage is set to 1.9v. There's a huge DS3 thread around here somewhere by BillParish that should help, since the BIOS on the UD3R is similar.
