Hey, I'm having problems with getting USB2.0 to run on my Soltek SL-75FRN2-RL Mobo. I installed the newest nVidia mobo drivers, thinking it might help, but my iPod still runs only on USB1.1. Whats the deal, and is there a way to make my USB2.0 work?

Thanks

1.) You need at least SP3 (for Windows 2000) or SP1 (for Windows XP)
2.) If there are any USB 1.1 devices connected, it'll slow the entire bus down to USB 1.1 speeds. (IIRC.)
3.) Why not use FireWire instead?

1) I've had WinXP SP1 installed since the last time I reinstalled Winbloze.
2) So, you're saying my Intellimouse screws my entire bus? Gay.
3) Because I'm cheap and haven't bought an expansion card, and my Soltek board didn't come with onboard Firewire. Otherwise, I'd be on it like a fat kid on cake.

go to windows update and look in the non-critical section. There is another update for USB1.1/2.0

try that, bet it fixes the problem ;)
