help with new setup

stealth gts 240 black ice, swiftech apogee gtx copper, micro-res, mcp 350, 3/8" tubing.

for right now I am just going to be cooling the cpu, I want to add 2 crossfire gpu's though in the future, so want to set it up for that, cooling wise.

Is this fine the way it is?

Should I get the mcp 355 pump?

Do I need a 3x120 fan radiator?

I suggest a 3x120 radiator if you want it to be quiet while WC'ing your crossfire setup, You can run 2x120 rad but your fans will need to be on blaring high to get low temps.

Also get a MCP655 D5 Vario/Swiftech I hear the MCP 350 has high rate of failure.

I hear 1/2 OD barbs, with 7/16" ID tubing is the way to go with Masterkleer tubing
 
Ideally, you'll want two loops. One for CPU, one for the GPUs. A 2x120 for the CPU and another 2x120 (or even 3x120 if you can fit it) for the GPUs, and 2 pumps. T-lines or reservoirs, doesn't really matter.

Less ideally, a 3x120 and a 1x120 in a single loop. Even less ideal (pretty much bare minimum to keep noise levels down) a single 3x120. Overclocks will suffer for the sake of noise the less radiator space you have.

Ditch the MCP350 and 355 -- the MCP655 is a /far/ better pump. Also known as the Laing D5 Vario. Get the non-Vario version if you want to save some cash -- it's very quiet even on full speed if you mount it properly.

As crazy as it sounds, 7/16" over 1/2" barbs is actually much cheaper than 3/8" tubing with compression fittings (nice as they are) because the damn fittings are so expensive. A single compression fitting can easily run $10. That's 4 barbs, on average. Cost of fittings adds up. Also, using 3/8" requires that you build complicated and ugly conversion things to use a Laing D5/Swiftech MCP655 because it has 1/2" barbs built in to the housing that can't be changed out... and the Laing DCC-3.1/3.2/Swiftech MCP350/355 really can't keep up in comparison.

I was going to use a radbox which would fit a 3x120 rad, if I got an additional 120 rad, what do I do with it, where can you put it?

I'm not familiar with your case -- is there a front intake fan, maybe? It may end up that you really need a different, larger case to fit a full water system for everything you want right now, if your current is very small or the configuration just doesn't lend itself to water.

Aftermarket air can be very quiet (and substantially less expensive, especially considering the cost of GPU blocks). What is you exactly purpose for going to water?

I have a Lian Li PC-6077, it's an ATX case, mid tower. I have a front fan but it's in front of a hard drive cage, def wouldn't be room for a rad in there. I could swap it out with just a fan, but I still don't think the rad would fit in there, I would have to put it outside the case somewhere. I could fit one loop with the 3x120 rad, and a pump and micro res inside no prob though.

I have good aftermarket air now, but it is fairly loud. It certainly would be cheaper, this is going to cost more than my cpu (E8400). I wanted to get on water for better overclocks, or at least the same overclocks I'm getting now, but quieter.
 
I hear the Xigmatech Rifle 120mm HSF is /very/ quiet, and it runs ~$35.

For the GPUs, not sure as I don't keep up with stuff for ATI cards at the moment.
