help with new drive plz

I had 2x200gb western digital drives in a stripe raid , ive added a 320gb barracuda today and its not showing up in windows... when i click on the safe to remove hardware i see both wd and the seagate drive but the seagate wont show in my computer :(. It looks like its adding it to the raid but when i press f10 at bios it doesnt list it as part of it... shouldnt it be able to run out of raid?
 
Well, first thing I would do is access "Computer Management" under the "Administrative Tools" section in the Control Panel. Once there, go to "Disk Management" under "Storage". This will show you every drive, including those that are not partitioned.

My guess is that your drive is not partitioned yet, and until it has been partitioned, it won't show up in My Computer. Once you have it partitioned, you can format it and have at it.
 
thanks for the reply lol i wish i read it before its what i ended up doing, it totaly skipped my mind.
