Im using a GTX 275 videcard for more than a year now and still Im not craving to upgrade my video card because it seem to handle even the latest games in 2D and 3D. Im using Nvidia 3D vision for about 1 year (I already have my GTX 275 even before I start playing 3D vision games) not until the time came when some of the games are not playable in 3D vision like Hitman: Absolution, wherein they say supported 3D is among AMD card user, Battlefield 3, wherein rated as 3D vision ready but I only played it on 2D even if I tried everything, and Far Cry 3 rated as fair (if I was not mistaken) by Nvidia.
But last time I have borrowed from a friend an AMD videocard (Sapphire 6570) and tried installing drivers for it and the middleware (tridef) I think most of the games run awesome even the 3 games I mentioned. I think I wanna try shifting to AMD cards because I know these cards are supported by tridef and not nvidias. All of the games here are like rated as exellent not like nvidia wherein only number of games are rated as exellent sometimes other great games rated as fair and poor. But the only problem I noticed from Sapphire 6570 is that I cant get the fullscreen of the game and sometimes in maxout settings the game slowed. Im using ACER HN274H 1080p LED 3D monitor unlike using GTX275 I can maximize my 1980 x 1080 in full screen without loss in quality.
So now, here are my questions:
1. Is it recommended to replace my GTX275 with AMD radeon brand? Im eyeing not the counterpart of GTX275 but much better if there is. Im also after the games supported by Tridef.
2. If Im to shift into AMD card can I use it with high resolution and in fullscreen? Lastly,
3. Is there no nvidia card supported by tridef? only AMD's
Thanks!!!
