so since yesterday, my display graphic seems to be getting worse and worse..at first, there's minor graphic error in game. After a few hours,i coulnt even watch youtube. The video becomes all green. The sound is fine, i couldnt play game anymore since the graphic were way off.
I thought maybe the driver needs to be reinstalled. I installed 12.1 catalyst, nothing changed. so I reinstall the windows along with everything. it just doesnt improve..now i lean towards hardware issue..my 6950 only been 2 months, computer as well. Now..how do i find out exactly which part is wrong..MB/video/ram/cpu? I dont think it's cpu or ram...
 
and firefox keeps crashing at me now when im on a page with a lot of flash, i just installed this copy of windows with catalyst 12.1 three hours ago..
 
GPU. Do you have another video card you can test with? Otherwise time to test out the RMA.
 
:( i was afraid to hear that...that's the most expensive thing on my rig.. i guess i will try to RMA it, no i dont have any extra card. I will use the video o/p on my MB for a while see if it reall is the GPU I just reinstall windows for the 3rd time..now there's black line across the screen once a while..
 
What are your other system specs? What kind of PSU do you have? Do you have decent cooling in your rig? Have you checked all your connections to make sure they are tight and secure inside your case?

I have SG08 case.. everything else seems to be ok as of right now..i changed display to integrated video display port on MB. It hasnt give me any trouble...i guess my 6950 is done.. my 6950 usually runs 45C when browsing web with flash and such and 68~70C when gaming. I thought it wasnt that hot.. it's hard to improve cooling in SG08..there's not much room and the GPU already getting fresh air just outside of the case. RMA i guess.. btw my cpu is i5-2400s and MB is intel H67 mini itx. My 6950 was pretty secured in the PCI-E slot..so i dont think it was the connection. It wasnt covered in dust either..
