ok, when i run 3dmark 2003/3dmark 2001/aquamark i get the same thing, my CPU acts sluggish, gives off about 2-3 fps in certin cpu tests(3dmark, the troll cpu part i get max of 10 fps...norm is about 3) but when i run pcmakr 2002/sisandra/games they all run super fast...what is going on here?? here are my systm specs..(note, computr is not working until tuesday at the earliest...just suggestions for now plz!!!)

dfi infinity, nb/sb/mosfets ar cooled very well..
9700 PRO at 360/320
1700+ dlt3c jiuhb @ stock, @ 225X10.5 and @ 255X9
bh-5 always 2-2-2-2-11-13-15 timings, always 3.25 volts, and always 1:1 with fsb
energmax 431 psu
rest is not needed afaik..

now when ever i oc to ither 225X10.5 or 255X9 it really sucks on the cpu scored...wtf!!! only 3dmark's/aquamark tho..

Sounds like the temps are getting way too hot and the CPU is throttling to avoid being fried. Have you tried monitoring the temps during the tests?

Im not surprised about the troll cpu test, the cpu doesnt have very much graphical rendering capability. What tests are you running in the other programs?

not to hot at all.. i cannot view temps but after 2 hr's of gaming temps are never over 38C( or so the thing says :))

im just running the whole 3dmark 2001/2003 and whol aquamark test... 2003=5kish( great graphics scores...SHITTY cpu scores..)
2001=13k
aquamark=14k :(

Have you tried leaving MBM5 on during the tests and going back and checking the High/Low temps recorded?

nope..when its up again illd o that... i also have thermal throttling disabled so thas not a problm..unless it overrides that command..
