First of all, I know it's complete crap :). But for 28 bucks (in-store price), I figured I'd give it a shot. I'd like to use it for gaming/Skype/MSN/whatever, but it seems like the mic isn't working at all when connected to the computer via Bluetooth.
Here's "My Bluetooth Places":

Am I doing something wrong ? I tried it with a W810i, and can confirm that the microphone isn't physically broken . Yes, I checked, it's not muted anywhere. Nor is it muted from the headset itself (since it worked with the cell). I can't figure it out for the life of me.
Any ideas ? Thanks for reading :).

EDIT:
Crap ... I had a stupid hunch and it was true. I tried a Moto HS850 on the same computer, and it has the exact same issue. Which prompted me to try out the headset on the laptop ... and it works. Now I'm more lost than I was before. What could be the problem ? Both computers are using a Widcomm stack. The desktop's receiver is the one from Logitech's diNovo Media Laser combo, while the laptop's is built-in (Thinkpad X60).

This is just a guess but did you make sure that the sound recording device is set to the LG?

Control Panel > sounds and multimedia > audio tab > sound recording/preferred device

I have two choices - Blutetooth Stereo Audio and Bluetooth Hands-Free Audio. I'm assuming the latter should be the one to do the trick. Regardless, neither works :(.

Hmm...maybe an updated driver for the X60 might help?

I am looking to do the same thing with the hbs-200. I just got it and i was able to pair it in vista, but i'm unable to install any drivers for the any of the services. I've read reviews of people who have had no problem connecting it to their computers, but i can figure out how to do it. can anyone help?
