Help with LCD Display

Hi, I have a Viewsonic 2025WM LCD display on a Geforce 6600GT running on the DVI. The other day I disconnected it from the PC to have a look at a friends PC that he brought over. I then plugged it back in and never powered it on. Now when I power it on I can see the POST screen, and can even go into the BIOS and such, but as soon as it gets to the logon screen (Vista Home Premium 32) it loses the signal? I hooked up the VGA cable and I get the video back, but it won't let me choose the digital input? It just keeps going back to the analog input? I've tested the video card on my other LCD (Samsung) and it works fine, and I've also changed the DVI cable for a known good one. Could this be a driver issue, as I get digital in the POST and BIOS screens?

Thanks for your help.

Ok, I just did a test and uninstalled the nVidia drivers and rebooted. I was able to get into Windows with just the DVI connected to the monitor, but both DVI and VGA cables connected to the video card (not sure if that matters)? Windows has reinstalled the video drivers, and now wants to reboot, so I will and see what happens.

With the nVidia drivers installed I can't get the DVI to work in Windows, but with Windows drivers it works?

Did you try using Driver Cleaner Pro (in Safe Mode) after uninstalling your video card drivers? If not, try that.
