HELP!! with HP l2335 / Xbox

I have the HP l2335 monitor and absoluely love it while using my PC.

But,
when I hook up the Xbox to it (using the HD component Video Cables), Playing Madden 2005 and NFL 2k5 look absolutely Crap. The Xbox looks horrible on this monitor due to the high res. - When I get the info from the monitor using xbox, it displays 676x451 (is this right??)

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a setting that Im missing? I can run FarCry and Doom 3 at 1920x1200 (using a 6800gt oc / fx53)

I have since sold this monitor and bought this to replace my monitor / dvd player / tv in my room:

But, Im setting up a new system for my uber rich friend (who loves pc AND xbox and wants them both on this display)

PLEASE HELP WITH ANY INFO - I kknow that the xbox will look better on the 26" JVC due to the lower native res and PC will look pretty good too (not as good as 1920x1200 but 1280x768 is pretty nice too! )

Nobody using an xbox with a hpl2335

676x451... what kind of messed up AR is that?

Did you change your display to 16:9 in the Xbox dash, and check the settings in the game options as well?

the xbox won't look any better on the jvc, if you set both panels up correctly.

Both panels will be scaling the output from the x-box, if you intend to use the full panel. The one with more pixels to do so should do the better job of it.

Viewing distance on the jvc is also going to be a good bit farther than on the HP, if you don't want obvious pixelation(better buy a deep desk for college.)
