Help with GPU driver problem

I just removed my old Geforce 4200 and installed a new ATI X800 PE and now I have two unknown devices that show up in my device manager. Both say they are on the ATI card but are of unknow type. Under Display Adapters in device manger I have "RADEON X800 XT Platinum Edition" and "RADEON X800 XT Platinum Edition Secondary" listed and both are functioning correctly. My display seems to be working properly as well. Anyone know what these other two unknown drivers are or more importantly how to get rid of them?

When I switched cards I did the following on a WinXP SP1 system:
1. Uninstalled the nVidia drivers.
2. Rebooted and canceled new device install.
3. Ran Driver Cleaner 3.3.
4. Shut down and physically switched cards.
5. Rebooted and canceled new device install.
6. Installed Catalyst drivers 4.12.

As I said everything appears to be working correctly. I'd just like to get rid of those unknow devices.

I bet going from a GeForce 4200 to an ATI XE PE is like day and night.
I see a really big performance increase after I went froma GeForce 5900 ULTRA to a 6800 GT. It added an extra 5000 to my 3DMark03..

Anyway, when you tried playing games/running benchmarks/ anything like that...did you see a big performance increase.? If you did not..then it might be because the drivers for the videocard are not properly installed. I would uninstall all the drivers/run driver cleaner/ and then reinstall everything one more time...and see if that fixes the problem..
