**Help With Formatting HD!**

I just installed XP after I thought I formatted the drive, after the install, my 60gig drive reads as a 2gig drive, I dont know what happened.......can someone tell me how to fix this or how to complety re-format the drive so i can re-install Xp?

Did you delete the partition ? Sounds like to me you just put windows xp over the old

Right click My Computer and select Manage. Under Storage click on Disk Management. See if the rest of your drive is displayed there as another Disk. Im thinking u partitioned your hard drive by mistake, and the rest of the space is there...just not formatted. You can either (what i would do if there are two partitions) is reformat the drive, delete your extra partition and install XP again. Or just format the extra partition and use it...though you might run out of space on the 2gb.
