Ok, so I get through most of the instillation fine, then it says,
"Decompressing /mnt/cdrom/server.tar.grz(00%)EXT2-fs error (Device Ram0) : Ext2_new_block: Corrupted free blocks counters"

I've dabbled in Linux but never really got that far. I'm guessing this is a Ram error, so I'm going to run memtest. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Try manually formatting the disk; it looks like for some reason it's not getting formatted. You may also have forgotten to format the /foldsave directory; mke2fs -j /dev/YOURDISKHERE will do that. Memory is a good thing to check, however, so go ahead with that.

If you run into this again, email me and I'll try to figure out what the problem is.

Well, I just replaced the memory, seems to of been the problem. But unfortunatly I met some new ones. First of all the mouse doesn't work. And uh, I didn't make the /foldsave dir, becouse I went by the documentation and it said to make it but it didn't say how  . I'm guessing I can still do this now right?

EDIT: If anybody has AIM and the will to solve problems and answer noobish quistions, LMK.

I had similar problems with the install. I think it was a combo of two things: 1. a bad burn of the iso and, 2. during the partitioning and format, after completing all three sections required (swap, /, and /foldsave) their is a command to tell the partion program to write its information onto the disk. I can't remember the command but if you hit the command key for help it should tell you what that command is. After about your 5th time of trying to install, you will get very aquainted with the workings of Linux. Also, unhappy_mage is very helpful with this. Emailing him is the best way to get your answers. Very quick and professional.

Well guys after like 4 hours with unhappy_mage we got it. Just one comment... WINDOWS > LINUX.
