Hey guys, just recently since I've upgraded to 6.22 I've been noticing these messages popping up every few hours or so on the console client, anyone able to tell me what it means/how I can fix it?

[07:27:56] - Unknown packet returned from server, expected ACK for results
[07:27:56] - Error: Could not transmit unit 09 (completed August 6) to work serv
er.

[07:27:56] + Attempting to send results [August 7 07:27:56 UTC]
[07:41:35] Writing local files
[07:41:36] Completed 155000 out of 250000 steps (62 percent)
[07:45:02] - Server does not have record of this unit. Will try again later.
[07:45:02] Could not transmit unit 09 to Collection server; keeping in queue.

Check your firewall... generally what that means is that your computer sent out A HELLO to the transmission server and did not receive back A HELLO...

ACK = Acknowledge. Sunin is correct, it seems the client is failing to receive a reply so the collection server fails to update the list.

I thought as much however all settings seem to be correct and nothing has changed since the 5.91 client.

If this is a bug it would probably be good to collect as much info as possible about your particular setup. I.E.

What operating system are you using?
What Firewall do you have on your computer?
What Anti-Virus do you have on your computer?
How do you connect to the internet(wireless? router? dialup, dsl< cable?)

Maybe something else as well, I can't think of what else might cause it.

I am having this same error.

Unknown packet returned from server, expected ACK for results

But the weird thing is that it only happens on the 6.22 SMP while the GPU sends and receives WU's all day and night. Why would the GPU be okay and not the SMP?

I am running Vista 64 bit, cable internet, and no firewall on this machine.

I still have it.

I will try a reboot.

Just a SWAG since I'm not using the native SMP client but the new one isn't defaulting to using IE settings or something weird like that is it?

Yeah the GPU client is fine, only the CPU :/ I've checked configs, they all seem fine, got no idea what's up.

Using Vista x64 with Symantec AntiVirus CE. Connecting through a router and am using NAT however it shouldn't be a problem as sometimes the units do send. It is very puzzling
