i am having a problem with the 25cm fan in the side panel of my chakra. (edit before someone suggests this, it is infact turned on)
plain and simple, it wont spin. it just rocks back and forth. i have unplugged it and re-plugged it in approx 442343214 times (no joke). Sometimes unplugging and replugging fixes it but it eventually always does this

i have these parts in my puta, i figure that an enermax liberty 620w (my psu) should be easily able to run my rig

e6850 (not OC'd)
gigabyte P35-DS3R
2gb adata ram (800mhz)
320gb hdd
120gb hdd
120mm case fan in the back
80mm case fan in the front
old ass dvd rom
xfx 8800gts (320mb)

any ideas? i have tried emailing enermax but that was lol worthy (you know how it is)

I'm not familiar with the case, how is the fan powered, 4-pin fan headder or a 4-pin molex?

Either way check to make sure the contacts in the fan plug are fully seated inside of the connector. After sleeving fans I've put them back together only to realize I didn't bend the contacts back far enough to stick inside of the connector, so it would only get partial contact, sometimes work, sometimes not...

worth a look.

Try plugging another fan into it. If it works then your fan is broke if it doesn't the something else is wrong. My friend has this same case w/ no problems at all infact I often recommend it.

and I'm sorry but I'm picturing a monkey plugging in and un-plugging the fan on this case 442343214 times.

its a 4 pin molex, ill pull the case apart again *sigh* and try a diff connector/diff fan in the same connector.
