Help with DVI cable

I'm getting the following monitor : Acer AL2216WBD 22IN Widescreen Lcd Monitor Black 1680X1050 700:1 5MS Vga DVI-D Monitor

My video card (for now) is : XFX GeForce 8600GTS XXX 730MHZ 256MB 2.26GHZ DDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I HDTV HDCP DIRECTX10 Video Card

I read that most people get a better dvi cable than the one that comes with it. Can someone help me choose the right cable?

Considering that a DVI signal is digital it either works or it doesn't. Unless you are running the cable from one end of the house to the other surrounded by electronics that are capable of disrupting the digital signal (I'm not even sure what those would be) you should be fine with what you have. The contacts at either end could be an issue I guess but I doubt it.

Did you not read my post? I'm sure you can find your own cable, just grab the cheapest one they have or check out www.monoprice.com see if they deliver to Canada.
